Mitta Valley Inc. is pleased to advise that a Project Steering Group has been formed to oversee the delivery of the Mitta Valley Mountain Bike Park development.
The Group consists of stakeholders from the Mitta Valley community, Towong Shire Council, Tourism North East and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. The Group met for the first time last week and was committed to establishing strong Terms of Reference. The Terms of Reference reflects the need to adopt best practice and engagement with the wider community.
The Group identified the benefit in having greater community representation on the Steering Group and incorporated additional positions; 2 landowner/community members and 1 Landcare representative. Mitta Valley Inc. is now seeking Expressions of Interest to fill these positions. All interested residents of the Mitta Valley are encouraged to submit an EOI form. The Expression of Interest form can be found on the Mitta Valley Inc. website and submissions will be received until 5.00pm Friday 10 September 2021.
To assist in keeping residents up to date, Mitta Valley Inc has established a dedicated page on their website, which will log all updates as they are released by the Steering Group.
